KDE in FreeBSD

Thank author of this post/commentAs we all know that KDE and GNome are the main two interfaces in Linux environment do we have the same support in desktop based FreeBSD also?

Thank author of this post/commentYes. I use Gnome and loaded KDE on top of it. I never use KDE but I use some KDE applications and everything seems to work well.

I use FreeBSD 7, and KDE works fine with common applications.

now i use Gnome, but is your's choice.

try: cd /usr/ports/x11/kde3 && make clean && make install clean

or pkg_add -r kde3

Thank author of this post/commentI use gnome, but have KDE installed and occassionally run KDE under gnome, or use some of the KDE applications in gnome.
